This Easter weekend was filled with all the things that matter most—hiding eggs, cooking, and soaking up time with family. But one of my favorite moments? Sitting in the snow, helping my oldest click into her skis and (hopefully) fall in love with it the way I did.

Balance isn’t always neat or equal, but weekends like this remind me why it’s all worth it. 💛

Scar care 101 — what actually works vs what’s hype. ✨

✔️ Medical-grade silicone (gel or sheets)
Gold standard + first-line. Best evidence to improve scar height, color, and stiffness. Start at 2–3 weeks and use for 3–6 months.

⚠️ Vitamin E
Mixed evidence. No benefit alone and can cause irritation.

⚠️ Retinoids
Not for fresh scars. May help later with texture and pigment.

⚠️ Hydroquinone
For pigmentation around healed scars — not scar thickness.
