Bojangles was a concept first developed while living on a small island off the west coast of British Columbia. I so desperately wished to share my creations while in such an inspiring environment. It began as Bread & Bojangles; a small Guatemalan blanket rolled out on the wharf with fresh baked organic breads and handmade jewelry. I have since refined my small endeavor into what is now Bliss • Boj
angles. For a few months I lived in Indonesia, earning my Yoga Teacher Training and traveling the islands. I was ecstatic to be there, for I was also discovering my Indonesian roots and culture. I loved it all - the warm contentedness of the people, the lush yet simple life. I was taught many things in my training and though Indonesia provided a safe space for my heart and soul to digest all the knowledge, I still had many emotional eruptions. To help me feel balanced, I found a beautiful mala through a new friend named Mura. She shared with me the purpose and use of this new mala and an intention was attached to aid in this overwhelming time. It's a powerful thing, to be the person to help remind yourself of what you aspire to be. To have a unique and personal reminder on your body, around your neck, in front of your heart is an incredible resource. During my stay in Indonesia and my period of re-balancing, I had a profound yet transparent realization: everything I need is within. This became my ultimate mantra for myself and the intention placed on the mala I wore after feeling so lost and overwhelmed. I create wearable, spiritual reminders for people. These malas can be growth conscious and help you evolve toward your higher self. The rudraksha beads are purchased directly from Mura and her family and hold a beautiful energy. They are then hand strung with gemstones + pendants + tassels + crystals and blessed with sage + palo santo. I am currently making these malas each with specific, loving intentions in hopes that they will help others as much as they have helped me. With peace and wellness, Darion x x x
