Sharing a success story for one of our longtime clients (with her approval)…
In 2023, A’s bone density scan showed osteoporosis and increased risk of fracture.
Despite starting off being apprehensive and worried about the gym, she listened to podcasts with experts and discussed with our physios. Weight lifting was going to be her key.
With help from our team and her dedicated partner over the past few years, she’s been successful in making the shift to incorporating weight training into her regular fitness regime. Her recent scan shows her hard work has paid off: increased bone density in both her lumbar spine and left femur 💪🏼
Proof that commitment pays off and that getting into the gym and loading your joints and bones, even into your 60’s as a woman, can be a key to longevity and fracture prevention.
