✨ A space for women who feel deeply.

If you’re someone who tends to hold a lot inside who overthinks, feels deeply, or needs a little more space to process, you’re not alone.

We’re opening a new in-person art therapy group in Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC: Making Her Mark: Empowering Women Through Art Therapy

This is a 5-week group for women, especially Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), who are wanting a gentler way to reconnect with themselves.

No pressure to perform.
No need to “have it all figured out.”
No art experience needed.

Just space to:

• slow down
• reflect and create
• explore boundaries, self-worth, and inner voice
• be in a room where you don’t have to explain your sensitivity

Each session includes guided reflection, simple art-making, and optional sharing in a small group (maximum 6 participants) so it can feel safe, grounded, and not overwhelming.

📍 Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC
🗓️ Sundays, June 7 – July 5
⏰ 1:30pm – 3:00pm
🎨 All materials provided

💫 $250 for all 5 sessions
(That’s $50 per 90-minute session)

Sometimes something is picked up right away.⁣

It could be a feeling, a shift, or something that doesn’t quite sit the same.⁣

And then it gets questioned.⁣

Was that real?⁣
Am I reading into it?⁣
Did I miss something?⁣

For a lot of highly sensitive people, there’s a natural ability to notice things early. Subtle changes that happen within. ⁣

And often, there’s intuition there too.⁣

A quiet knowing. Not always loud or clear, but something that registers.⁣

The tricky part is how quickly it can get second guessed.⁣

Especially when it’s hard to explain. Or doesn’t fully make sense yet.⁣

Over time, that second guessing can start to override the initial noticing.⁣

And slowly, it can turn into doubt.⁣

Not because the noticing was wrong but because it wasn’t trusted.⁣

Not everything you notice needs to be proven right away.⁣

Sometimes it’s just something to stay with. To come back to. To understand in its own time.⁣

Sometimes something feels so important⁣
that it starts to feel urgent.⁣

Like you need to figure it out right now. Understand it. Make sense of it.⁣

So the mind keeps going back to it. Replaying it. Turning it over from different angles.⁣

And it makes sense why. There’s a depth to how things are taken in.⁣

For highly sensitive people, information is often processed more deeply and thoroughly.⁣

Not just what happened but tone, context, meaning, what it might have meant.⁣

So it’s not unusual for the mind to stay with something longer.⁣

But sometimes that focus gets really tight. And instead of things becoming clearer, they start to feel louder. More tangled.⁣

Not because something is wrong but because there isn’t enough space around it.⁣

For highly sensitive people, clarity doesn’t always come from staying close.⁣

Sometimes it comes from stepping back just enough for things to open again.⁣

Sometimes it’s not about people. Or that anything went wrong.⁣

It’s the noise. The movement. The pace of everything all coming in at once.⁣

And when that happens, the pull can be to escape. To shut it all down. To get away as quickly as possible.⁣

But sometimes the need isn’t to leave. It’s to notice your capacity.⁣

To feel where your edge is. To recognize when something is too much not because you’re doing something wrong, but because your system is responding honestly.⁣

Needing less input isn’t something to push through. It’s information, awareness, and care.⁣

And over time, that awareness becomes something you can trust.⁣

You don’t need to become less sensitive. You just need to understand your capacity.⁣
