The Road to Recovery program began as a vision to make the full continuum of substance use care available in a coordinated and timely way.

Since its launch at St. Paul’s Hospital in 2023, the program has served 486 patients. When fully implemented in 2025, the program will have 50 treatment and recovery beds, alongside a central access line, the Rapid Access Addictions Clinic (RAAC), and a range of harm reduction services. It will soon expand province-wide.

“It is nothing short of a miracle.”
