It began softly.
A room with light that did not hurry.
Glass holding its breath.
People arrived carrying whatever the day had done to them.
They sat. They exhaled. They remembered themselves.
Hands moved with care.
Not to fix, but to listen.
The body spoke first—always first—
and the room answered in a language made of gentleness.
Years passed.
Governments shifted.
Mayors came and left.
Policies tightened, loosened, reshaped the air.
Yet the room stayed.
Not loud.
Just steady.
Ten years of brick and mortar—
through Trudeau I, II, III—
the city around us learning and unlearning itself.
There were other struggles.
Courtrooms.
Offices.
Letters that felt like closed doors.
The slow harm only institutions can deliver.
Still—people stood.
Not because they were unhurt,
but because someone had to remain.
War zones existed far away.
And also here—
in paperwork, in delays, in silence that cut deeper than words.
Different fields, same courage.
Through it all, Selfology moved—

from body to screen,
from moment to archive.
It became something else.

一切從一個輕聲開始。
一間慢光打開的小房間。
玻璃像在等待，像在呼吸。
人們帶著一天的重量走進來，
在安靜裡坐下，
在安靜裡找回自己。
手在移動。
不為修補瑕疵，
而是為了傾聽。
身體先說話——向來如此——
而房間用一種不帶判斷的溫柔回應。

政府更替。
市長來與走。
政策收緊、放鬆，又重新塑形。
但有些東西沒有走。

十年的磚瓦——

亮著一盞微弱卻不肯滅的燈。

法院的椅子。

只有制度才會製造的那種慢性傷痕。
人們仍然站著。
不是因為沒有受過傷，
而是因為總得有人留下。
遠方有戰地。
這裡也有——
在文件、程序、延宕、沉默裡。
不同的地圖，相同的勇氣。
