At Red Bay National Historic Site, animation plays a central role in turning history into lived experience.
For this project, we developed a suite of original, in-house animations to bring the region’s geography, maritime history, and whaling industry to life.
These sequences sit comfortably within immersive environments—supporting physical artefacts, scenography, and interactive moments to create a cohesive visitor journey.
From cinematic storytelling to responsive, spatially integrated media, each piece is designed to evoke not only what happened, but the scale, atmosphere, and human effort behind it.
The result is a layered narrative experience where animation becomes a powerful interpretive tool—connecting audiences to Red Bay’s history in ways that feel immediate, human, and accessible.
We’re proud of the care and collaboration behind this work, and pleased to share a glimpse of the animations that help carry these stories forward.
