The Ministry of Health has directed the following four regulatory health colleges to amalgamate to form a new, multi-profession college on June 28, 2024:

- College of Chiropractors of BC
- College of Massage Therapists of BC
- College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC
- College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC

This amalgamation is part of the Ministry of Heal

th’s multi-year initiative to modernize BC’s health profession regulatory framework. The four colleges will continue to regulate health professionals until they amalgamate on June 28, 2024. If, before this day, you have questions or concerns about the regulation of any of these health professions, please contact the appropriate college directly.

For questions related to current licence status, renewal, Health Profession Corporation permits, liability insurance, first aid certificates, and name change requests, contact Registration at registration@cchpbc.ca or call 604-742-6670 press 2 and then press 2 again. Choose the option for the profession that the questions are related to.

Quality Assurance Assessor will be engaged in orientation, training, and reviewing assessment processes.

Attention registered massage therapists:

The Renewal deadline is approaching.

If you do not renew by March 16, 2026, you will be required to pay a $100 late renewal fee between March 17 and 31, per CCHPBC Bylaws. If you do not renew by March 31, 2026, you will not be legally authorized to practise as of April 1, 2026, until your registration has been reinstated.

The College is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the work of Legal Services within the Office of the Registrar (“OTR”).

The Legal Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the effective creation, management, and flow of legal records and documents that support a wide range of functions across the OTR, including Legal Services, the Privacy Office, Policy & Legislation, Records Management, Support Programs, and Governance/Government Liaisons.
