In both body and mind we hold a lot and as a result we often compromise our lives in other areas, physically and emotionally. It’s all about the issues in the tissues, that’s where I step in! Our breath is powerful and something we all should be very grateful for. It is our life force, our prana, our truth and our daily blessing. Through breathing, massage can sink deeper and allow that much needed release. Allow yourself to take a deep breath in and feel your lungs and tummy fill up with an expansive inhale, as you release the breath, feel the tissues release and relax. Massage and breath go hand in hand, and this is why I get so excited the practice because it is such an honest thing to witness. I have graduated as a Massage Practitioner from The Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage. After receiving my diploma I took my practice to Montreal for a chapter and worked at Studio Bliss doing massage therapy. I furthered my knowledge with Deep Flow in Costa Rica with Mylene Bergeron and Carina Raisman, learning about Structural integration and body balance. In my pursuit of discovering more modalities I was introduced to the art of Indian Head massage through Bliss Prema, which I am still studying. I have just joined a massage studio, where on the weekends I invite whom ever to come in and experience my massage practice. Deep tissue relaxation massage is what I focusing mostly on, however I have been trained in a variety of styles including shiatsu, hot stone, joint release. I aim to accommodate and build each session best to suit your needs and requests. Please feel free to contact me.
