Helping Spirit Lodge Society is the leading Aboriginal women's organization in the Lower Mainland to alleviate family violence and enhance community wellness through a traditional, holistic approach. Such resources include our transition house, second stage housing, third stage/ subsidized housing and an employment program.

Orange Drum Building Workshop
Snacks Provided | Limited to 10 Participants

We invite ten people to join us in a special 2-day Orange Drum Building Workshop.

Day One: Build your own drum and let it cure overnight.

Day Two: Create your drumsticks and take part in a Drum Waking Ceremony, so you can carry your medicine into the community, or share it with family and friends.

We invite you to join us for a community gathering under the light of the Grandmother Moon.

Doors Open: 5:00 PM

Location: 3965 Dumfries Street

This is a time to let go of what no longer serves you and welcome healing with the Grandmother Moon.

This ceremony is open to all – everyone is welcome.
