In this group you'll learn the basics about regulating your nervous system and some practical tips and tricks that you can put into your mental health toolbox!

Our latest blog is about AI therapy, the pro and cons - in particular how AI as a tool in therapy can be beneficial and offer vast improvements to access and certain types of support, but it can't replace the human connection built with a good therapeutic alliance. We also are concerned about privacy and security of data, misguided algorithms, lack of oversight, standards and regulation, and more... read more:

The pros and cons of using AI therapists are explored in this article. While AI can be a very helpful tool, it cannot replace the connection of working with a human therapist.

Welcome to our new Intern Counsellors! We're pleased to have our two new low cost counsellors, phil and Mark, join our team to offer accessible, low cost services for clients in the Lower Mainland in person and all over the province of BC online.

Mark and phil join Jennifer and Kevin in our practicum program to offer a very high quality of supervised counselling services at a very reduced rate. Each of our Interns brings their own unique interests and extensive training and skillsets to their work, and they offer a free consultation to help you decide if it feels like a good fit before committing to working together. Services include a wide range of evidence-based supports for individual adults and youth, as well as couples counselling.

Please share their info with anyone who might be looking for a bit of help or someone to talk to this summer, and remember that they also have a limited number of sliding scale spots, so if finances are tight, don't let that stop you from reaching out!

We take your privacy and online security very seriously!

This morning many members of our team completed an excellent CyberSecurity training. The focus was on ways that we, as therapists, can keep our online systems tuned up to the latest cybersecurity concerns.
Sophia Kelly from Tailored Tech offered a 90 min live zoom session to our team. Feedback from the team was that it was very helpful information.
