It’s been a delightfully busy couple of weeks—finally found some time to return to our page for the next “Mystery Reading”.

Recently, I’ve started trying out 4-card draws… definitely found myself encountering an amusing learning curve when reading in my typical free-style narrative. (As opposed to traditional spreads where each card has a specific designation.) More cards = more complete message or more complicated one? 🫣😅 Bookings will remain in my token 3-style free-style but we will have some fun experimenting in the mystery readings as I have been doing in my personal ones!

♏️ We start the session by inquiring to my Rider-Waite deck for some identifying information about the mystery client of the week:

Interpretation:
⚡️Two individuals—a “workhorse” type and a “star of the show” personality—have recently come together in collaboration on a business ad/venture or otherwise teamwork project.
⚡️It is possible this “shining star” is feeling the other person working on their the team is being a fool, showing ignorance, or lacking in experience.

Interpretation:
⚡️This work collaboration appears to be between two individuals also in a romantic relationship, likely a marriage or serious long-term commitment. Unfortunately, this romance is now limping along—wounded due to issues of ego and pride.

♏️ We ask the cards for any guidance to be given for the couple—the “star” individual most specifically:

Interpretation:
⚡️If you remain attached to Ego and it’s unproductive beliefs and behaviours, you will soon find yourself alone—whether you win or lose the next debate at work will not matter. You will struggle alone and succeed alone, in both work and life.

Interpretation:
⚡️Your approach / perspective regarding conflict together “on the job” needs to do a 180° turnaround. Quick!

♏️ Moving on to my Oracle Cards for a complementary reading, we ask my Hero’s Journey deck for a message to support the mystery recipient:

Interpretation:
⚡️What a terrific reminder that when working closely with others—loved ones especially—it can be important to dial down the emotional intensity when expressing contrary opinions or giving direction / making requests / delivering criticism in hopes to avoid triggering defensiveness or resentments or feelings of disrespect in the other that will no doubt be difficult to separate from relations outside of the work.
⚡️Taking “breaks” from each other, to deescalate a challenging conversation, or to implement self-care or social outlet apart from your shared lives, are both important strategies to prevent too much pressure from building in the relationship when spending so much time together.
Sometimes, all that is needed is an aptly timed, mindful walk—“saunter slowly”—around the block, to clear your head and open your heart again to figuring out a way through things together—being cooperative instead of combative.
⚡️Don’t forget, being right or achieving a career milestone is rarely as fulfilling as the experience of a loving and committed relationship—having their safe haven at home to return. Don’t lose sight of this when you face the next clash of opinion, or need for constructive criticism, or when making demands of this special someone else when moving forward with this additional layer of partnership that now exists between you two.

Welcome to this week’s mystery reading! With each passing week that I am able to connect with someone unknown out there who has a message they really need to hear, I have grown increasingly grateful for this gift of being able to work with the Universal magick spoken through the cards. I feel connected like never before to All That Is. Thank you for empowering me to empower others.



♏️ We inquire to my Rider-Wait deck—the foundation of my tarot practice—for a first revelation of our mystery read today:

💫 Page of Swords
💫Knight of Pentacles
💫DEATH
💫7 of Pentacles

Interpretation:
⚡️There were two close friends (or brothers);
one unfortunately passed away and the other is left behind feeling some sort of way about something he has inherited…

ℹ️ Rarely is the notorious DEATH card of the tarot indication of actual physical death in a reading. So I was a bit taken aback today to find that here in fact it DOES signify the passing of someone. The mirror-like image of the Knight of Pentacles / DEATH cards next to each other struck a chord deep within me and I suddenly knew this to be true.

♏️ Nonetheless, we ask for more clarity on the situation—verification of my intuitive interpretation—to be sure such a serious translation was accurate:

I felt inclined to draw a fourth card to extend the meaning:

Interpretation:
⚡️The deceased young man was a gentle or kind soul; the image of the tomb / coffin on the 4 of swords verifies well for us I am correct that he has passed—a death that has left his friend / brother in troubled contemplation; he feels like he was (or is) sneaking around about something…

ℹ️ Note how the Universe has repeatedly shown the deceased friend with tarot cards that implicitly represent him as a “good” person—the energy of Page of Cups image is sweet and innocent, and the previous Knight of Pentacles has the vibe of a dependable friend you can count on. It is not a coincidence he is depicted in this way: this is how our mystery client views his friend. In contrast, looking at the first draw, he is shown as the Page of Swords, a character who generally appears less likeable or approachable; a kind of grim or tense person. This because he views himself as the “Bad Guy”.

🤔Even before I transition to the next question / draw, an errant card drops from my hands—it is the Queen of Wands. I do not take a photo because I decide to discount it from the reading as I had not even formed any intention yet for the next part of the query series.

♏️ When ready, we then move on to ask for the major piece of missing information—why does our mystery client feel he is being “sneaky”?

Interpretation:
⚡️Somebody is either looking like a fool or feeling like a fool and it has to do with a relationship—THIS is what he has been contemplating!
⚡️He has been “sneaking” around with his deceased friend / brother’s wife / girlfriend.

🫣 I cannot believe (well, yes I can!) that the cards purposely pushed the Queen on me to complete the message of the previous draw; then because I did not heed the gesture, Universe insisted on replaying the exact two cards in the next draw to insist on its message. (Yes, it’s a pretty key bit of information, so rightfully so I was chased down to take notice dammit lol.)🫣

♏️ We understand now why this friend is feeling so pensive and lost—we ask the cards if they have a message for he who feels such guilt:

Interpretation:
⚡️During this time of grief, your presence in this woman’s life has been experienced by her as a “knight in shining armour”.
⚡️You have brought her happiness and healing in the aftermath of your shared tragedy.

A card falls out again!?
(We won’t discount the hole in my hand this time LOL!)

💫9 of Swords

Interpretation:
⚡️This has been keeping you up at night—understandably!

♏️ A good time then for us to switch over to the Oracle cards for some additional guidance in a tough predicament:

💫NEVER A CROWD ON THE LEADING EDGE: “Honour those who honour you.”
💫X MARKS THE SPOT: “See the Love in Disguise.”
💫STAND UP AND BE RECOGNIZED: “You are the inspiration you’ve been looking for.”

Interpretation:
⚡️I feel like this first card has a double meaning for you today; it is telling the two of you, who have found something to honour in each other, that you can and will also honour your friend, and lost love, together.
You are NOT dishonouring him.
⚡️Despite this being an unconventional, and potentially controversial, way to find LOVE, that is the kind of magick you could have here between you if you allow yourself to accept it.
⚡️You are likely worrying deeply about what others will think of this relationship if it becomes public knowledge. This card seems to insist that you be proud to been seen together and to be together—whenever you both feel the time is right.

♏️ We follow up with my Intuitive Life Oracle deck and ask for its message of guidance:

Interpretation:
⚡️There is some aspect of this woman and your shared circumstance, that is here to teach you about your boundaries and self-love. Perhaps you are keeping a degree of distance because of the guilty conscience belief that you are undeserving and bad for your feelings for her? That said, I will not elaborate on what I don’t know—my interpretation or the card subtext may or may not be suited to your scenario. Look to yourself for this wisdom and the corresponding details. You will know.
⚡️However, it seems that such practice and it’s related achievements will bless you spiritually with the gifts you were both born to receive and born to give.

⚡️Your relationship is just: you will bring about balance and order in each other’s lives and you coming together is in fact meant for the highest good—the complete opposite of the immorality you fear being part of.

I send my deep condolences to you both for the loss of your friend. I can only imagine, he would be as supportive of this union as the Universe has shown itself today to be.
