Our approach is gentle, curious, evidence-informed โ€” non-prescriptive and authentically rooted in care. Our path is shaped by decades of work in understanding people, behavior, and human development. With Masterโ€™s degrees in Social and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, we taught at the university level and served as consultants in business, government, and non profits in the Philippines. After restarting our careers in Canada and eventually retiring from professional roles in the banking industry, we chose to devote todayโ€™s chapter of our lives to community well-being. Today, we focus on sharing our learnings and guiding others toward clearer, calmer living through simple, supportive practices: nourishing foods, mindful habits, community experiences, and frequency-based wellness tools. We also explore how modern communication technologies influence the body, and how small, informed choices can help people feel more balanced in a tech-driven world.

It is time to deliver again to beneficiaries of the FSCBC Food Rescue program, gathering donated goods from groceries and filling up food boxes to deliver to families experiencing food insecurity. Some pick up their boxes from the distribution point, most are delivered by volunteer members to the waiting homes. Simple, ordinary service, no fuss. FSCBC shares goodness where it can.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‚

The Filipino Seniors Club of British Columbia brave the blistering heat of mid-spring weather to repack food collected from several supermarkets in metro Vancouver. Today, 55 food boxes were filled and distributed to needy seniors families.
Rain , snow or shine, the commitment to serve others is a shared purpose of the volunteer members of the club.

You know what I love about these little fenugreek sprouts?
Theyโ€™re justโ€ฆ easy. No stove, no heating bill, no fuss. They sit there on the counter doing their thing, and four or five days later โ€” boom โ€” youโ€™ve got this fresh, crunchy, living food right in front of you.

I just rinse them with our chlorineโ€‘free alkaline water, give them a little shake, and thatโ€™s it. No pesticides, no mystery hands touching them, just us from start to finish.

And the best part is how they feel when you eat them. Light, clean, kind of earthyโ€ฆ you can almost sense your gut saying โ€œthank you.โ€ Itโ€™s like feeding your whole system something it actually recognizes.

Plus, you can sprout all kinds of seeds, any time of year. No seasons to worry about. Just a tiny kitchen garden that keeps giving.

Fresh, simple, and honestly kind of fun.

This week, I watched three discardable romaine lettuce stumps come back to life.

My wife placed them in a small glass dish, added a little water, and set them on the window sill.
Every morning, she checked on them with quiet appreciation.
By day three, tiny dark green leaves began to push through.
Life returning.
Growth happening.
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธHealing unfolding โ€” simply because the environment said, โ€œ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚โ€™๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ฒ. ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป.โ€

And it made me ask myself:
We talk about medicine, treatments, prescriptionsโ€ฆ and yes, they matter. But there is another kind of healing we rarely talk about:
The healing that begins when we speak to ourselves with kindness.
When we give ourselves sunlight, rest, hydration, movement.
When we stop criticizing our bodies and start encouraging them.
