Seattle Hakomi Education Network is offering bite-sized, 2 day in-person sessions that are designed for Hakomi Level 2 graduates on the path to certification and certified Hakomi therapists who wish to hone their skills, and these are also open to individuals who wish to participate as an observer or client. Who's Who in HEN?

Behind the scenes at HEN are our dedicated volunteers. As a volunteer driven organization we would not be here without those who step in to support, create, ideate and oversee key functions. Today, I'd like you to meet Katy one of the members of the organizing committee team in Ireland.

Katy McAndrew:

"I came to Hakomi about 9 years ago, following my curiosity after working with a Hakomi therapist. I remember asking him one day "what is it exactly you are doing? It felt like the most important question at the time, and I was wide eyed waiting for the answer. Once I came to it I could feel it changing me, cell by cell nearly, melting away the casing that had surrounded me.

I decided to join the organizing committee to help out with my peers who had suggested it be in Ireland this time around. Wicklow town is known as the garden of Ireland. it has it all, lush scenery, lakes, the sea, mountains. wherever you look it's been in a film or should have been. It is magical."

We play with elements of an old pattern with curiosity and a wondering about “what if…?” This is a journey of unfolding from an old embodiment to one that is more resourced, authentic and wise. This reveals a new possibility of remembering and inhabiting being truly “at home”.

✨ We start on March 19th, we invite you to join us in the SPRING 2026 edition of the 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒎𝒂 Training, a space of deep learning, transformation, and connection — where 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and where the body is recognised not as a problem to fix, but as a source of intelligence, resilience, and truth.

We invite you to register and expand your 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 capacity to accompany healing — from the wisdom of the body.

Presence, Play, Possibility - Psoma! Join HEN Legacy Holder Donna Martin and Trainer Shelley Winton to explore Psoma - a unique adaption of Hakomi that focuses even more on somatic patterns that are keeping someone in a habitual reactive state or in an old reality. March 14th (insert time and timezones for PDT, EDT, CET and GMT as we're in that weird time where timezones change differently in March!).

What is a salon? This term came to life in the 1700s in France, and in short these were gatherings held by a host, who created a space of lively conversation, debate and the sharing of ideas that were critical to the times (think art, literature, philosophy). These gatherings often consciously followed Horace's definition of the aims of poetry - "either to please or to educate". Our modern HEN take on a salon is a place to spark Conversation + Connection + Community. While this is a virtual gathering of the minds, the goal will still be a gathering that is warm and inclusive, with plenty of sparks of inspiration.

The HEN Legacy Salon is open to any and all levels of Hakomi experience and interest. Join other HEN community members from around the globe for two hours where we'll explore a theme and take questions from the audience while we engage in stories and sharing with the Legacy Holders. We will have a moderator (in the tradition of any good salon!) and who knows - there may be some surprises that pop up along the way.

Join Legacy Holders Adama Hamilton, Bob Milone, Donna Martin and Georgia Marvin, along with our host Andrea Freeman in this interactive session to explore the theme of Teaching. This will explore stories from years of teaching Hakomi and other modalities - where, how, who and what they have learned, how they've adapted.
