Welcome to the Reinvent Your Health in 5 Weeks Challenge. Each week I’ll be posting a different health challenge for you to incorporate into your life. I’ll also give examples of how you can achieve this. Pick one option or pick a combination of options that you need the most. At the end of 5 weeks, you’ll be even closer to a healthier and revitalized YOU!
Challenge for Week 1:
Make a conscious effort to increase your intake of nutrients on a daily basis. Nutrient deficiencies are common and many of us are not getting enough of the nutrients we need. Give your body a boost this week.
Here’s how:
o Aim to have 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Fruits and vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet and provide your body with essential vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
o Make it a priority to have healthy snacks – for example, apples + nut butter, mixed nuts, energy balls, celery sticks + hummous.
o Enjoy a smoothie for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. It’s a great way to get 2-3+ fruits/veg into your day.
o Taking a daily multi-vitamin
o Consider intravenous (IV) therapy to give your body higher concentrations of nutrients to support optimal function.
