Meet your Physician - Dr. Blake MacKay! 👋

Dr. MacKay is a Sports and Exercise Medicine physician with specialized certifications in ultrasound-guided diagnostics and procedures. Originally from Winnipeg, he earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba. He completed his residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, alongside his wife, who is also a physician. Following his residency, Dr. MacKay pursued additional training in emergency medicine in Sudbury, trauma care in Cape Town, South Africa, and Sports Medicine at the Allan McGavin Clinic at UBC.

Dr. MacKay has extensive experience in sports medicine, having provided medical coverage for junior hockey, varsity soccer, football, professional curling, lacrosse, volleyball, dance, mixed martial arts, and as part of the medical team for the Canada Games.

Meet your Physician - Dr. Zachary Tan! 👋

Dr. Tan specializes in general orthopedics, spine and sports medicine. He received his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Alberta. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Toronto. He completed an additional year of fellowship training in Complex Spine Surgery at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Dr. Tan is passionate about providing the most cutting edge technologies and techniques, including the anterior hip replacement, total and partial knee (unicompartmental / patellofemoral) replacement, MAKO Robotics, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal cord stimulator implantation, cervical disc replacements, and stem cell injections to name a few.

Dr. Tan provides services both in English and in Mandarin.
