Vancouver Facial Hair Club

Vancouver Facial Hair Club We promote respect, inclusivity, and fellowship within the Facial Hair community.

The Vancouver Facial Hair Club was founded in January 2013, with the idea of creating a charitable social group to help promote a positive image for Facial Hair and to create a community for Facial Hair Growers, Builders, and Enthusiasts. We host monthly meet-ups for Members and non-members and host an annual Facial Hair Competition to raise money for local charities, with a focus on Men’s mental health and well-being, or other charitable organizations that directly address needs in the local community. We are current members of the North American Charitable Beard and Moustache Alliance (www.nacbma.org) and the World Beard and Moustache Association (www.worldbeardandmoustacheassociation.org)

We host monthly open in-person meet-ups [as of April/25, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month], at Hero's Welcome, 3917 Main St, Vancouver, BC. If you need beard advice, want to meet other facial hair enthusiasts, want to hang out and stare at some beards and moustaches, or need information about upcoming competitions in the area, then this is the place to be! POLAR BEAR SWIM 2026

HAPPY NEW YEAR

English Bay Beach in the West End of Vancouver was alive and electric today with the annual New Years Day Polar Bear Swim!

vanfhc member Andrew Cole ( ) participated in his 18th polar bear swim today.

This year It was so busy on the beach with non-swimmers that is was a struggle for Andrew to even get in the water.

Andrew promises to one day source out a 2007 button :)

vanfhc wishes one & all a very Happy New Year celebration with harmony & health for 2026

2026 is the Year of the Horse, specifically the fiery Fire Horse.

The new Lunar New Year actually begins on February 17, 2026, and lasting until February 5, 2027.

The fiery Fire Horse brings themes of passion, energy, innovation, and potential chaos for progress.

This Fire Horse year follows the Wood Horse (2014) and precedes the Earth Horse (2038), cycling with the five elements every 60 years.

The vanfhc will be soon galloping towards our next charity competition event rodeo:

Nov 29 - 1-Mile+5K - a great O Canada time - a Mo Canada Mo moment!

He set 2 goals right then, raise $1000 to join the Platinum Club and win Man of Movember the following year, he did both!!
