I am sad to say that after the last 10 years of training, I have decided to close. The time has come for me to go in a different direction and pursue a new career. It has been an absolute pleasure to train each and every client I have had through the years.

As of Monday the gym will no longer have sections. We will still have a limited number of people allowed to train at a time to keep everything safe a distanced, however we will not be limited to staying in our sections anymore!! 🥳👏🏼

THIS IS WHAT KIDNEY REMOVAL LOOKS LIKE!
Is much less invasive than most people would think.
I am still pretty swollen both front and back as well as blown up from all the gas they fill you with.

The pain is mild and manageable, abs as of day 5 after surgery I am pretty mobile, off pain medication and doing pretty darn well 😁

Sometimes you just have to give up your excuses snd START!! We are all guilty of it at some point or another... making excuses, letting anything and everything get in the way of what we should be doing.
Over the last few months I have been guilty of telling myself I have too much going on, putting other task and other people first and neglecting myself.
I decided that today was Day 1 of getting back into my normal routine and caring for myself!
I had a goal to jog for 30 mins.. that’s it.. I didn’t care how long it took or how fast I went. I just had to make 30 mins..... and having just finished i am happy to say it only took me 35 mins! I did a 2 min warm up and only took 3x 1min walking breaks!
It wasn’t that bad at all. The hardest part sometimes is getting out of your own head and STARTING!

We are still open and ready to train safely!

-Each time you enter the gym you will have your own section to train in.

-There is plenty of space to keep our 6ft distance and get a killer workout.

-Each section is equipped with everything you need to do a full body workout.

- We sanitize everything before and after you touch it.

- Clients exit the gym and enter at a separate time to avoid congestion.

Back to the gym!! and killing their morning workout.
Our gym is open with social distancing in effect. Every trainer has a sectioned off workspace equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfectant cleaners and your own personal maid (me) to clean all the equipment before and after you use it!
Health and safety are incredibly important to us!!!

WHOLE UPPER BODY WORKOUT with a set of bands!
-shoulders
-biceps
-triceps
- back
- lats
I like to attach all my bands to one anchor point by looping the handle around a solid furniture leg. I leave them there all day and do a couple reps or sets whenever I pass them or feel like it throughout the day.

In this crazy time, who do you want to be?
With everything being shut down and closed, “I don’t have time” should no longer be your excuse!
Spend some time and think about who you want to be, what you want to do.
Then do it!
Break big goals into smaller goals:
“I want to be fit” can be “I am going to jog for 5 mins each day”.

ABS ABS and ABS!!!
Today’s bodyweight workout is
10 V-ups
15 wrist ups
10 leg drops
20 bicycles
20 straight arm twists
—- try 5 rounds

Remember when you are working on abs to keep breathing, it’s common for people to hold their breath when they try to use their abs. You should be able to breathe the whole time! I use my breathing as a way to count reps. Each breath is 1 rep.

Everyone loves a good TABATTA!!
You can download a free tabatta timer from the App Store to guide you through this one! Tabatta is a time series of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds rest. The 10 sec rest essentially gives you just enough time to switch into each position.
You would do all 8 rounds of each tabatta switching between the 2 exercises and then move on to the next tabatta!!

Bicycles

Tabatta #2
Alternating lunges
Push ups

Tabatta #3
Plank taps
Mountain climbers
