We recently spent time with Clément at La Ferme Piscicole des Bobines, learning more about what matters most to farmers on the ground.

For us at Skretting, these conversations are invaluable. They help us keep improving, stay aligned with our customers’ needs, and continue developing feeds that support healthy, responsible aquaculture.

And on the East Coast, we’re proud to hold the Pro-Cert Organic certification which ensures that organic feed produced is controlled and contains no GMO ingredients, artificial colorants, or synthetic appetite enhancers.

Sunshine, smiles, and community spirit!

We had a fantastic time this past weekend at the Charlotte County Fall Fair, held in partnership with Atlantic Canada Fish Farmers Assoc. The sunny weather made it the perfect day to connect with the public, share what we do at Skretting, and answer lots of great questions about our industry and career opportunities.
Our booth was buzzing with excitement and we had plenty of activities which kept everyone engaged and sparked some great conversations!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by. We truly enjoyed meeting you and being part of such a vibrant community event.

That's a wrap at United States Trout Farmers Association 2025! What a great conference!

The highlight was the campfire at beautiful Hunter Mountain Resort where Timothy and Katie connected with trout farmers from all across the US. (They were so caught up in the great conversations, they forgot to snap a photo but, it was a perfect fall evening!)

On the final day, we got a tour of Hudson Valley Fisheries remarkably clean and organized facility that is helping to lead the way for RAS in the US. It was also great to see Skretting feed featured prominently in the feed room!

We are already looking forward to next year’s event!

Last week, members of SKNA came together with the Ocean Trout Canada Inc. management team and staff, along with other OTC partners, for the second annual OTC Freshwater Workshop Series.

From technical deep dives to hands-on learning, the workshop strengthened our shared commitment to advancing freshwater operations and supporting the successful cultivation of world-class saltwater trout.

Connecting with familiar faces, enjoying some delicious food and celebrating our shared commitment to sustainable aquaculture.

We’re proud to support the Zebrafish Husbandry Education Short Course at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), a hands-on, immersive program designed for lab managers, aquatics professionals, and researchers working with zebrafish.
This course covers everything from system design and water quality to feeding, breeding, and health management, key knowledge areas for advancing zebrafish husbandry and research outcomes.

Sunshine, fresh air, and a little friendly competition, all in support of our industry! Big thanks to Animal Nutrition Association of Canada for putting together such a fun and well-organized day on the course. Always great to share laughs and good times with familiar faces from across the industry. Looking forward to the next one!

We are also proud to launch our Sustainability Value Proposition called ACT - ACT stands for leading with Action, building Connections, and ensuring Transparency.
