📣 BCS Member Shout Outs 📣
So many powerful moments came out of the Bladder Confidence Solution program this week. Here are a few highlights worth celebrating 👏
CB had a powerful all round growth and transition win 🧠📋💧
She experienced a front door urgency moment after a long drive and, instead of falling into old self criticism patterns, she shifted into calm, supportive self talk and recognized what contributed to the moment. That same level of awareness carried into her progress tracking, where she could clearly see how many improvements she has already achieved, giving her strong evidence of change instead of relying on memory alone. She also made a smart pacing decision by choosing not to rush into trigger challenges before she felt ready, focusing instead on building things properly so they stick long term. On top of that, she has started developing a “bridging” strategy for everyday triggers like washing dishes, where she practices calm setup, bladder emptying, and nervous system regulation before intentionally working with the trigger in a controlled way. This call also marked an important milestone as her final group coaching session, transitioning into her success phase with stronger awareness, confidence, and practical tools she can continue to build on.
NB had a major real life freedom and presence win 🚶♀️
She had visitors for 10 days and was able to stay active, go hiking, and enjoy outings without constantly needing to plan around bathroom stops. She noticed a clear reduction in urgency and more ease in her body overall, which allowed her to stay present, engaged, and connected in conversations instead of mentally scanning or worrying ahead. That combination of more freedom in her day and more presence in her interactions is a big step forward in both confidence and real life enjoyment.
SL had a powerful control and progress win 🌙
She shared that she has been sleeping through the night without needing to get up, and when urgency showed up on a couple of mornings, she was able to stay calm, talk herself through it, and get to the bathroom with confidence. She also noticed less urgency in the shower and is now going every 5 to 6 hours. Even with a temporary setback due to physical discomfort, she stayed engaged and focused on her exercises and learning.
SB had a consistency and priorities win 💡
She realized that if she does not schedule this work like a meeting, it simply will not happen. She is now actively treating her program time as non negotiable and building structure into her week.
VZ had a big confidence and recovery win 🌙
In week 4 she slept through the night, used her 8 steps when she woke briefly at 4am, and was able to settle and fall back asleep. She completed her morning routine and noticed her confidence continuing to rise even while still having small learning moments along the way. That is real progress building.
MC had a major improvement win 📈
She went from waking every hour overnight to now only waking twice. That shift alone shows significant progress and nervous system change already happening.
JB had a strong real life strategy win 🚶♀️
She completed a 90 minute walk with no leakage, used the bathroom before starting, managed a mid walk urge using the knack and breathing, and stayed in control all the way through. That is confidence in action in real life situations.
