📢There’s only a couple months left of microneedling season!! Time to get one last collagen and glow boost before the summer!☀️

Microneedling creates microinjuries in the skin, boosting collagen + elastin production to help smooth fine lines, fade acne scars, refine texture, and give you that fresh, glowy skin from within.

There’s a lot of buzz right now around “blood tests for endometriosis”… and it’s true...things are changing!

Multiple companies are now developing non-invasive tests to help identify endometriosis without surgery.

Most of these are still in early rollout, not widely accessible, and we’re still waiting on large scale validation.

It’s an exciting shift, but we’re not at a clear standard of care yet.

Sharing this to help you understand what’s actually out there right now 🤍

Yes, this is a little depressing because there’s only so much we can do for pathogenic variants in genes, BUT research is always evolving and coming out with new things. Education is power.

AND it’s good to know that we are learning about more factors that contribute to “unexplained infertility”, which is the most bogus diagnosis ever.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts!

When it comes to managing endometriosis, food isn’t a cure, but it can absolutely be a powerful tool.

Endometriosis is an inflammatory, estrogen-driven condition that is also closely connected to the immune system and the gut microbiome. Because of that, what we eat can influence several of the pathways involved in symptoms like pelvic pain, fatigue, and painful periods.

• lowering inflammation
• supporting healthy estrogen metabolism
• feeding beneficial gut bacteria
• supporting liver detoxification pathways
• providing antioxidants that reduce oxidative stress

Things like fatty fish, broccoli sprouts, chia seeds, berries, leafy greens, and fermented foods all contain compounds that research suggests may help calm inflammatory signalling and support hormone balance.

Of course, no single food will magically fix endometriosis. What matters most is the overall dietary pattern over time: focusing on whole foods, fiber, healthy fats, and anti-inflammatory nutrients.

Think of these foods as small daily ways to support your body alongside other treatments like surgery, medication, acupuncture, or herbal medicine.

Endometriosis is complex, but there are many ways to support your body along the way.

This might be controversial...but I’m not sure how I feel about cycle syncing anymore?

Of course, I will always be a proponent of listening to your body and doing what feels right.

But sometimes it feels like it’s just more rules to follow??

What are your thoughts on cycle syncing?

Painful periods are not something you just have to “deal with,” even if your cycles are regular.

Up to 90% of menstruating people experience cramps, and 5–15% report pain severe enough to interfere with work, school, or daily life. And yet, many are told, “That’s just normal.”

But pain is information. It’s your body telling you something needs attention:
➡️ Inflammation or prostaglandin overload
➡️ Endometriosis or adenomyosis (1 in 10 women)
➡️ Fibroids, adhesions, or cysts
➡️ Hormonal imbalance

Regular cycles don’t automatically mean healthy cycles. Pain doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means your body may need support🤍

Period pain is common… but that doesn’t mean it’s something you just have to live with.

In this post I’m sharing some of my favorite evidence based tools I use both personally and in clinical practice to help manage menstrual pain.

For many people, the most effective approach is layering multiple strategies together rather than relying on a single solution.

And while these tools can be incredibly helpful, severe or debilitating period pain is not normal. If your pain interferes with daily life, it’s important to explore underlying causes like endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, or hormonal imbalances.

Your cycle shouldn’t have to be something you dread every month.

Save this post so you have these tools handy next time your period arrives 🤍
