We are the VCH Travel Clinic/Vaccination Clinic. We provide travel specific & routine vaccinations, We also offer non travel vaccines.

Our doctors provide prescriptions, health advice and vaccine recommendations tailored to the individual’s medical history and travel itinerary. Our nurses provide the vaccinations after the travel assessment is complete. Though we are owned and operated by the public health branch of VCH, travel medicine is not covered by the government. The Travel Clinic has been designated as the BC Centre of Excellence in Travel Medicine.

Our Story

Our doctors provide prescriptions, health advice, and vaccine recommendations tailored to your individual medical history and travel itinerary. Our nurses provide the vaccinations once the travel assessment is completed on the same day.

If you would like to see if your routine vaccines are up to date or what non travel vaccines you could consider getting you can make an appointment with one of our nurses to go over your options. Though we are owned and operated by the Public Health branch of Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), travel medicine is not covered by the government. We run on a cost-recovery basis meaning that any funds that do not go into running our clinic go back into Public Health. The Travel Clinic has been designated as the BC Centre of Excellence in Travel Medicine by the Ministry of Health. We are a designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre by the Public Health Agency of Canada (this is required to provide Yellow Fever vaccine). Satellite clinic in Richmond Thursday evenings (5:00 pm - 7:30 pm) at 8100 Granville Ave.
