In Loving Memory of Penelope 'Penny' Lash Lorimer (1935-2025)

Penny passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver on October 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 90.

Born in Toronto, Penny’s life was filled with curiosity, creativity, and quiet strength. The oldest of three children, she shared a deep artistic streak with her brothers John and Tony, which she expressed throughout her life in many forms—batik, pottery, silversmithing, and in her beautiful gardens.

A graduate of Havergal College, Penny remained close with lifelong friends from her school days, as well as from summers in Muskoka, and skiing at Craigleith. She was athletic and adventurous, whether skiing, sailing aboard Snow Goose and Romeiro, or embarking on road trips in the MG with her husband, Don.

Stephen passed away suddenly at home, September 15, 2025, after a brief illness.

Steve's sense of humour developed from his love of Looney Tunes cartoons, Mad Magazine and Monty Python. Steve's passions (or obsessions) included his Ford Ranger, Flying Club, Toronto Blue Jays, Vancouver Canucks and of course his beloved dogs Henry & Maggie.

Although a very private person, Steve enjoyed time with family and friends. Lefarge Lake in Coquitlam was a special place for Steve and his sister Diane as they enjoyed many walks together with their dogs.

It is with profound sorrow that the Bacic family announces the passing of their beloved Bosiljka Bacic, at the age of 96, on October 4, 2025, at Richmond General Hospital, surrounded by her family and love.

Born on May 6, 1929, in Belgrade, Serbia (former Yugoslavia), Bosiljka immigrated with her family to Vancouver, B.C., in 1957. She embraced her new life with gratitude and pride, and she dearly loved Canada, which she proudly called her home.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Ng En Ze, who left us unexpectedly on the September 1st, 2025. Jeremy is survived by his parents Jesse Ng, Joanne Chong and sister Yvonne Ng.
