Together We Can Drug & Alcohol Recovery & Education Society

Together We Can Drug & Alcohol Recovery & Education Society TWC’s mission is to educate and support individuals who struggle with the challenges of addiction. Thank you for your generous support.

Together We Can Addiction Recovery & Education Society was founded in 1993 and since then has become one of Canada’s leading treatment centres for men. Located in Metro Vancouver, TWC’s mission is to educate and support men and families who struggle with the challenges of substance misuse, and desire a new life in recovery. TWC provides over 200 men with abstinence-based recovery programs and supportive housing opportunities in a therapeutic residential setting. Our addiction recovery programs, transitional housing, and aftercare initiatives provide residents with an integrated approach to rehabilitation. Together We Can understands that long-term recovery is most successful when people are provided health and wellness supports for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. TWC is a licensed healthcare service provider through Vancouver Coastal Health, and is well established as a reputable destination where men can truly begin to create change in their lives and rebuild their family relationships. As a registered charity, we are dedicated to building positive community relationships with Families, Donors, Partners, and Government. Together, we can continue to make a difference in our community.

Let’s give a big congratulations to TWC staff member Billy on 8 years of sobriety!

Since joining TWC, Billy has made a huge impact through his advocacy and connection with Indigenous communities, helping more individuals access care and support. His passion, lived experience, and commitment to culturally meaningful care continue to strengthen our community in such an important way.

Congratulations on 8 years, Billy, and thank you for leading by example for your family and so many others along the way.

Billy shared this message with us:
"Substance misuse was something that was normalized to many of us at a very young age over the past eight years I have fought hard to unlearn these lessons while also teaching my children a better way of being."

🎶 Support the healing power of music 🎶

Music has a unique way of reaching people where words can’t. In recovery, it becomes a powerful tool for expression, connection, and healing.

Our music therapy programs are in need of new or gently used instruments — including guitars, keyboards, percussion, and recording equipment. Every donation helps create meaningful moments of growth, creativity, and recovery for the men and women we serve.

If you have an instrument to give, you can make a real difference.
