has released a casual shoe list that follows the guidelines for shoes recommended py ! For those of you who haven't wanted to walk around in a running shoe, here are some options that let you have a better sense of the ground than most other shoes. And when you sense the ground, you can use it!
The list has always been for running shoes, and that's because there's usually just a single release of a shoe model each year, so maintaining a list is 'less' work (the amount of work these incredible humans put into testing and recommending shoes is huge though, and I'm thankful for them!) The problem with developing a list for the more casual show brands is that the models and varieties change all the time and are hard to keep track of. So the casual shoe list is just brands, but that doesn't mean every shoe made by that brand has the qualities of a good shoe! Always check the shoe itself for the following:
▪️a firm, stable heel that doesn't collapse when you push on it
🔹equal or limited, definitely not more, give on the sole on the outside of the heel compared to the inside
🔸bends in the toe box, not in the entire shoe
