From Burnaby to Port Moody and back = 42kms! Another favorite... We go up through Burnaby mountain which always is a bit challenging on the steep incline but once you get to the top, it's fun riding all the way down the other side! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

This was an incredible hike! Levado Nova to Levada do Moinho was so fun! You basically do a figure 8 along the mountain side levada while coming to a waterfall before doing the loop on the way back. The views are beautiful and listening to the levada water flow beside you is super peaceful πŸ’«πŸ™Œ

Wow this hike was spectacular!
On this day we did 11kms of beautiful cliffside hiking in Lagos, Portugal! This hike continues on for hundreds of kms so we only did a fraction of what the coastline trail offers.πŸ˜πŸ‘£πŸ“Έ

WOW WOW WOW! Next on our list was the Seymour mountain peak hike. This was an incredible trail! Marked as intermediate to hard, the trail was filled with many rooty and rocky steep inclines and some challenging scrambles! We ended up doing 4 peaks! Brockton Point, Pump peak, Tim Jones peak, and the final, Mount Seymour Peak! Each peak was higher than the next and more challenging to get through. The views from the top were incredible, offering 360Β° views of Vancouver and beyond along with the thousands of mountains that surround seymour. We took the main trail on the way up and took a different path on the way down so we could pass Mystery Lake! The trail on the way down was equally as challenging, with roots and rocks to go over the whole way. After about 10kms we finished the day feeling very accomplished! Have you ever hiked around mount seymour? If so, what is your favorite hike?

Wow! This was a super fun trail we've never done before!! We crossed the iron workers bridge and started on a powerline trail that led up to a whole bunch of smaller trails in the seymour Valley area.. we then followed a rugged trail along the river that led us to a logging road for another 10kms. After looping around at the top, we headed down the seymour Valley trailway, and it was a blast. A fully paved bike route that took us down the other side and back to the trail head where we started. After riding home, it ended up being 53.3kms! 3.5 hours of fresh air in nature!! Highly recommend doing the valley bike trail. It was awesome! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜

Well this was another adventure! We drove 2 hours to the rest stop off the coquihalla hwy and did needle peak and the flatiron hike! It started out with an incredibly steep rooty trail for 3.3kms which got to a base between both peaks. We tried to do needle peak first but unfortunately when we got half way to the peak, someone cut the ropes and it was terrifyingly difficult to pass in the scramble. We doubled back and headed over to flatiron on the other ridge. These mountains were beautiful, quiet and truly picturesque! It was a total of 13.3kms, 6.5 hrs which amounted to 23,000 steps and burning 1900 calories! The hike was difficult but so worth the view!
