Wasn’t sure I could pull off this Holi dance in 2 days… but somehow I did. That’s the Holi vibe. Happy Holi!

At the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the Grand Palace, Bangkok. This picture is one of my most cherished memories from Thailand, for more reasons than one.

For decades, I have felt a deep connection with Buddha and I pray to him daily. After my first visit in February 2020, I had a vivid dream about the Emerald Buddha. In the dream, I was inside his temple lighting incense when everything around me began to collapse. It felt as if the world was breaking apart. I remember thinking that my turn would come next. I even heard my name being called.

When that moment arrived and I stepped forward, I felt no fear. I felt a quiet acceptance and a strong sense that I would be taken care of. Nothing touched me. I woke up feeling deeply protected.

You cannot take photographs inside the temple, but I made sure to take one outside. When I look at this picture, I see the calm I felt sitting there in his presence. Some experiences are not meant to be captured on camera. They stay with you in a different way.

Eight weeks ago, I was convinced I had two left feet. Today, I’m here grooving with my teacher to a song I’ve always loved, and I’m just so grateful for it.

Climbed what felt like 79 stairs at Wat Phu Khao Thong in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Built in 1569, damaged during the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, restored and still standing. There’s no panoramic proof because my bestie and I were too busy trying to survive. Sweaty, breathless, questioning our life choices, and dragging each other up, up, up. We made it to the top. No helicopter rescue needed. The view was surreal. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

Painting is my go-to way of manifesting. I paint what I desire, but it has also helped me express my innermost thoughts in ways words often can’t (and that’s coming from a novelist!:)).
Life got busy, and I didn’t make time for painting for almost three years.
Picking up my brushes again feels really good. This one is a work in progress. The theme is simple: At the right time, God leads you to the right place.

After long hours of energy healing and psychic work with my clients, slowing down and unwinding is important. I picked up dance two weeks ago. Sharing a small progress check.
