It’s a question we get a lot, and the answer isn’t always “right away.”
In the early phase, some symptoms are expected and often settle with time. The key thing we look for is steady improvement, even if it’s gradual.
When should you reach out? If your symptoms persist past the two-week mark without a clear downward trend, it’s time to take a closer look.
It’s a common myth that recovery is just about waiting it out, but symptoms don’t always go away on their own, and simply resting isn’t always what’s needed. Earlier treatment often leads to an earlier recovery.
Additionally, for some people like athletes, waiting a couple of weeks isn’t always ideal. If you’re looking to get ahead of your recovery and have a clear plan early on, it’s completely okay to come in after just a few days.
If things feel like they’ve plateaued, are getting triggered easily, or just aren’t improving the way you expected, that’s usually a sign your system needs more guidance than “wait and see.”
Recovery is about understanding what’s being affected and giving your body the right input at the right time. The sooner you get clarity, the easier it is to move forward with a plan that actually works 💪
If you’re unsure where you’re at right now, getting assessed can give you direction and peace of mind 💚
