My teaching style has always been on Indian Gurukul pattern where students didn’t only learn acupuncture, my theories, techniques, Bhupendra pulse diagnosis nuances but also life in its broader context connected to metaphysical and paranormal connections to human behaviours and diseases. There is always a connection of our ethnicity, religious believes, geographical distribution, behaviour, mood swings, nature, lifestyle and food habits to the type of diseases and disorders we suffer. My students join me during lunch breaks and there also open discussions goes on. Many of my students travel with me to many countries for wider clinical exposures and join me in all extra curricular activities where also studying is continued with some lighter moments.

It was probably my second or third visit to Stockholm when I was awarded a gold medal by Mr. Carl Nobel during a glittering function at hotel Sheraton. Later a grand welcome party was organized late night where I was invited as a chief guest. Everybody was drinking and enjoying the party while suddenly I started drinking directly from the bottle. Suddenly one Indian who was also in the party came to tell me that I must stop drinking directly from the bottle as it’s considered bad manners here. I was fully aware that in the west often people follow the chief guest. I told that I’m the chief guest and wait. after some time everybody started drinking with bottle enjoying party except that guy who was seen drinking from the glass at one corner. One of my Australian friends send a picture depicting that he is standing alone at one corner with his glass. If I get that picture, would like to post. I believe it’s at Allahabad house.
