Job Description:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will assist in room to room cleaning, including other areas of the facility. You will work closely with the care team to help create a positive experience for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and has a passion for contributing to the well-being of others.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
• Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, and furniture.
• Follow infection control protocols to minimize risks to residents and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchens, and staff areas.
• Assist with setting up rooms for new residents and maintaining a comfortable living space.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar support role, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Valid food safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform light lifting and physical tasks, such as moving laundry and food trays.
• Ability to follow dietary and safety protocols in food preparation and cleaning.

Job Description:
As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious, well-balanced, and delicious meals. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team and follow dietary guidelines tailored to our residents' specific needs, including those with dietary restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals according to the facility’s menu and dietary plans.
• Ensure meals meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of special meals and events.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Support special dietary requests, including those for residents with allergies, diabetes, or other health-related conditions.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.

-Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
-Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
-Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.

Qualifications:

-Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
-Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
-Current CPR and First Aid certification.
-Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
