Happy World Health Day! Here are some small, science-supported habits that our staff uses for long-term health and longevity:
💬 “Keeping my cholesterol in check comes down to consistency, about 150 minutes of movement each week, staying hydrated, and focusing on whole foods like oats, vegetables, and nuts. Simple habits that support heart health long-term.” - Theo
💬 “I focus on small, consistent resets, checking in with how I’m feeling, stepping away when things get busy, and practicing mindfulness. It helps me manage stress and stay focused.” - Ashling
💬 “In Canada, it’s hard to get enough vitamin D year-round, so I’m intentional about supplementing, getting sunlight when I can, and including foods like salmon, tuna, and egg yolks. It’s a small thing that supports both physical health and mood.” - Troy
💬 “VO₂ max training has been helpful in building my running endurance in a sustainable way. It helps me improve cardiovascular health without burning out too much.” - Genty
