hi 🤍, there's an issue with our online booking system (MindBody) that is affecting our clients' ability to book in with us. clients are seeing that we have zero availability for weeks ahead which is untrue.

there's an easy fix but it's not clear because the app appears to be working and doesn't tell you to update it. that’s the easy fix- to update your MindBody app 😊. sorry for any inconvenience.

as always, if you prefer not to use online booking, please contact us. we will happily book you in.

what you seek is seeking you. this is my favourite quote. it’s by og poet ✨rumi✨. it reminds me of the universal law of attraction. that if there’s something we truly desire and get lit up by it and feel it deep in our bones, then it’s *for* us, already on its way *to* us. (that’s the ‘seeking you’ part.) then i remind myself it’s a matter of getting our blocks + challenges out the way so it can present itself.
i teach on this often in my yoga classes. when doing manifestation work- if you’re feeling imposter-syndrome, doubting that it’s coming cos it’s not here, then you’re in a place of lack + low vibration. so it *will* stay away haha. when you know and feel and trust it’s meant for you and on its way, that brings you into a higher vibration, one that is magnetic to the thing! this trusting also bring us so much patience, knowing it’s on its way and it’s time to do the innerwork to get it here. and in all of this, remembering we’re right on time ✨!

our hand-sani is not full of s**t.

to legally be a hand-sanitizer, it has to have iso alcohol in it, which is drying to the skin. so, ours has seaweed, aloe vera and other power plants to soothe + re-nourish your skin from all the sanitizing.
ours does not contain the garbage and dangerous ingredients that all big common brand have in their hand-sanis.

we have used hand-sani in our treatment rooms since forever, then suddenly in march 2020 hand-sani was sold-out in stores everywhere from ppl mass-buying it!

we developed this product two years ago to a) have a healthy hand-sanitizer that doesn’t make you sterile. b) not have to deal w sold-out supplies. c) be able to share a healthy hand-sanitizer to anyone who wants to buy one. available in our retail size of 240mL.

The Pxssy Shop [formerly CoalitionSkin] has been at its current location since 2011. This downtown-cusp-of-gastown studio has become known as the best Brazilian wax studio in Vancouver. Running smoothly by a handful of lighthearted women, we believe in throwing humour into situations and not taking life too seriously – like using the word pxssy in our brand just cos we wanna.

We do however take our top quality waxes seriously! Imported from Australia exclusively by our shop, these waxes are used to protect your most sensitive areas. We have adopted stricter cleaning and sterilization protocols than what the legislation calls for in our industry. No double-dipping + no cross-contamination and only the most experienced waxers and skin therapists work at this shop. Our techniques, waxes and care for our clients’ comfort have raised the standard of the pussy-waxing industry.

Along with specializing in full body waxing for male, female, agender, +, other services include helping with skin issues via guidance of proper ingredients your skin type wants on it and we offer microdermabrasion treatments – aka “a facial with deeper results.” (Book in for a free skin consult to start healing your skin inside and out.) Our retail shop offers high quality supplements (holistic nutritionist + herbalist, Katie, is available on Fridays), healing tools, books, crystals, prints from local artists, menstrual cups, non-toxic baby powder, Himalayan salt lamps, and other products with the aim to promote a healing lifestyle.
