Pharmacist George Pettie, owner and operator of the Fraser Lake Medicine Centre pharmacy is excited to be expanding his business to Vanderhoof, to the business space where Megan Olver used to be on Church Avenue, opposite to the Integris Credit Union.
More than the business opportunity, George is excited to be extending his way of providing pharmacy service to the community of Vanderhoof. It’s a different strategy. Pharmacists will focus on the patient immediately as they arrive. They are not just a client they are a patient. While qualified assistants are instantly preparing prescriptions the pharmacist will be taking care of the patient directly to help them know and understand their medications.
Just like in Fraser Lake, health education and comfort will be the two priorities for the Vanderhoof Medicine Centre. Education can be as simple as an informal conversation to help customers better understand their prescriptions or as comprehensive as a full medication review. The centre layout and interior design will create a warm environment that puts customers at ease. They will notice a difference right when they walk through the door.
Staff are trained to make every effort to help you feel informed and prepared for better health. Their approach to service is driven by the notion that every need deserves their full attention.
