Come join us for The Push-Up Challenge!

The Challenge is to complete 2,000 push-ups in 23 days (February 5-27), but you can do half the target if you prefer. Should be a bit of fun and hopefully we can raise some money for The Canadian Mental Health Association

Download the Push For Better app to log your daily pushups. You can find our team to join (using the link below) or create your own team of friends and join our community in the app by searching for VHF.

Congrats to Mike Dittaro! He wins a month of membership for himself and a friend!

Throughout the month of January any of our members who scanned in more than 10 times were automatically entered into the draw.

This was so much fun to go through the month and see all the hard work everyone puts in at the gym!

February 10th we are going to be hosting a Day Pilates and HIGH Fitness combo class.

You can call the office or use the VHF app to register and save your spot. In the app, click on classes and select Feb 6 to find the squash tournament.

BIO

We wanted to introduce ourselves for those who don't know us yet...

We are Raymond and Stephanie Reimer, the owners of the Vanderhoof Health and Fitness Gym. We were both born and raised right here in Vanderhoof, and we genuinely care about giving back to the community that has always supported us.

Ray has his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education, and his personal training certification through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) - Physical Activity Training for Health. He is currently studying for his Diploma in Nutrition, through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and will be taking a more active role at the gym starting January 2018.

Because I (Ray) love fitness, it has been a dream of mine for the past 8 years to have my own gym and do personal training. I am passionate about helping people workout and finding a place where they can maintain a healthy lifestyle.
