We are incredibly proud to share that Mark has received the Lifetime Honorary Member Award from the Ontario Funeral Service Association (OFSA). This prestigious award recognizes funeral directors who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and excellence throughout their careers — and in our eyes, no one is more deserving than Mark.

Mark began his career after graduating from Humber College in 1987, starting in Ottawa before moving to Vankleek Hill in 1991 with his wife, Lisa. Since then, the two have become pillars of our community, making a lasting impact both professionally and personally.

Over the years, Mark and Lisa have been active in numerous local initiatives, including the Vankleek Hill Business Merchants’ Association, the Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour, and the Trees of Remembrance — just to name a few. In addition to his work as a funeral director, Mark also served as a volunteer firefighter in Vankleek Hill for over 30 years.

From serving every family with compassion and care to giving back tirelessly to the community, Mark exemplifies everything this award stands for.

Please join us in congratulating Mark on this incredible achievement — and in thanking both Mark and Lisa for their years of dedication, service, and heart.
