In a recently published article, researchers looked at marathon runners during the Singapore marathon at 10kms and 39kms to assess foot strike patterns. 65% of the field were heel striking at 10kms. 33% were forefoot striking. At 39kms, 75% were heel stiking at only 1% were forefoot striking.

How then do we account for these changes (fatigue?, footwear?, course?, ethnicity?, etc.) in orthotic design and in footwear recommendations?

3D printed orthotics use 80% recycled powder (over and over again) to make the greenest orthotic possible!

3D printing is an incredible technology. Period!

When applied to custom orthotic prescription, the sky is the limit in what's possible.

The versatility we as an orthotics lab has because of our first-in-Canada 3D printer, is further evidenced by the head bands for face shields we are printing for front-line workers.

Today we are proud to be sending the next batch of 3D printed PPE to our front-line healthcare heroes.
