Step-by-step spooky spiders in the making! 👻

👻 Crafts are a fun and easy way to incorporate the repetition of necessary skills while allowing your learner to explore their creative side expressively!

👻 Cutting and pasting is a sensory activity that aims to develop fine motor skills and pincer grip- while also working on: order, concentration, coordination, and independence.

👻 Cutting with scissors involves the skill of hand separation, fine motor coordination, bilateral coordination, and eye-hand coordination.

👻 Hand separation used in cutting with scissors is a skill that is also required for handwriting. This is when the thumb, index, and middle fingers separate from the rest of the hands.

👻 In incorporating these activities to our learners daily routines, we are fostering fun and interactive ways to strengthen skills which translate into other areas of learning.
