We are thrilled to announce the addition of Rana Diptee to our team as an occupational therapist!
Rana Diptee is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) in United States, as well as a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Toronto, an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant certificate from Centennial College and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from D’Youville University in New York.
Her clinical experiences have included positions in rehabilitation, acute, subacute, long-term care, cardiac, orthopedic, and palliative care. She has worked with infant to adult clients developing creative treatment plans for overall strengthening and coordination, fine/gross motor skills, social and community engagement, improved sensory processing, self-regulation skills and self-care training based on person-centered goals. Rana also has experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health/behavioral challenges.
Rana is skilled at completing assessments of attendant care needs, home safety assessments, and comprehensive physical, cognitive and psychosocial assessments. She develops personalized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary health professionals, clients, and their caregivers/ families.
