🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We are thrilled to share that Erin Goldvasser, Clinical Director at Two Can Talk, has officially completed her ESDM Therapist Certification! 🎉👏

The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is a leading evidence-based intervention for young children with autism, and we can’t wait to bring this approach to families in our community. 💙

✨ Stay tuned — we’re working behind the scenes on an exciting new ESDM program that will soon be available at Two Can Talk for young kids with autism.

Meet SLPA Jinu! 🧡

Jinu is a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registered Speech Language Pathologist with a strong foundation in communication sciences and a growing focus on behavioural support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Nitte Institute of Speech and Hearing, India, and has expanded her professional skills through additional certifications, including a Diploma in Behavioural Science Technician and the Deafblind Intervenor Program from George Brown College, Toronto.

With hands-on experience working with children on the autism spectrum, Jinu is deeply passionate about supporting individuals with diverse speech, language, and communication needs. Her approach is rooted in empathy, flexibility, and the Total Communication philosophy. She has learned American Sign Language (ASL) and adapts her communication methods to meet each individual’s needs, including those of children with deafness and blindness.

Jinu has worked as part of interdisciplinary teams alongside ABA therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and special educators. This collaborative experience enables her to deliver coordinated, holistic support plans tailored to each client’s developmental profile and family priorities.

Meet SLPA Mia! 💚

Mia Mia is a graduate of the University of Windsor’s Concurrent Education program, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She went on to complete a Communicative Disorders Assistant post-graduate certificate at St. Lawrence College. Mia is currently registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada.

Mia brings a broad range of experience working with children and youth in classrooms, childcare settings, and recreational programs. Her clinical placements included early intervention for speech and language in Florida, as well as speech, language, and literacy support for toddlers and school-aged children in Ontario. Mia has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, genetic developmental conditions, and children who are non-speaking. With a strong foundation in child development, Mia is passionate about using play-based, relationship-centered approaches to support communication growth. She is committed to tailoring strategies to each child’s individual needs in order to help them thrive.
