As Ramadan comes to a close and Eid al-Fitr begins, we recognize this meaningful time for many members of our team, residents, and families. Eid marks a day of gratitude, reflection, and connection, built on the strength and dedication shown throughout the past month.

Across our homes, we see the values of compassion, generosity, and community every day. Eid reflects these same values. It reminds us of the importance of caring for one another and celebrating the diverse cultures and traditions that shape our community.

This week we had the honour of celebrating our very own Angela Gulizia, Vice President of Administration and Physiotherapy Services, recognized as a 2026 Women in Leadership Champion alongside many inspiring women from the CIBPA community. Each woman recognized represents dedication, leadership, and a commitment to lifting others around them.

UniversalCare is proud to operate the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care, a home dedicated to providing the highest quality of long-term care for veterans, their families, and the broader community.
