DESIGN BUILD

Avvio Fine Homes designs and builds quality custom homes in the Greater Toronto Area. Avvio uses its Design Build Process to meet agreed-upon expectations, including project budget, completion date, and communication. You can determine how much control you would like over the process. The design phase of the process features professional architectural designs, which are created by our own designer and Partner Vincent Gambino, or by leading architects and designers. In either case, Avvio will manage the design phase in order to ensure that your vision comes to life. Avvio is Tarion-registered and therefore licensed to build new homes in Ontario. Now it’s time to insulate and pour the basement concrete slab at Project LH in a way that improves energy efficiency and comfort, while keeping above and below the slab dry after construction. We will also form and pour the front porch and garage slabs.

As we step into a new year, we’re looking forward to everything 2026 has in store. One of the highlights for us will be seeing the completion of Project Frances. It’s been a rewarding collaboration with our partners veralineadesignstudio Bell Design Studio Building Knowledge Canada - and a great example of thoughtful design and high-performance building coming together.

We’re also excited to see the progress of a few custom home projects in the design phase and the start of their construction in the Spring and Summer.

At Project LH, you’re going to see how sewage and wastewater is carried away from our client’s home and can never get back in, and how groundwater is kept away from the home to maintain a strong structure and prevent mould growth and other flood damage.

For this project in North York, Avvio Fine Homes developed the land, designed the architecture and interior, and built 2 new custom homes. Linda’s home was 3600 sq ft, 4.5 baths and 4 plus 1 bedrooms. It included a Tarion Warranty and feng shui certificate. It has a smart floorplan including a servery and private powder room, and large primary closet. Its primary ensuite is lined with marble and home is filled with detailed carpentry.
