Living with chronic or recurrent UTIs can affect far more than your bladder.

Ongoing pain, discomfort, unpredictability, and repeated flare-ups can place the body under constant stress — impacting both physical and emotional wellbeing over time.

Mental health symptoms can also influence:
💛 Pain perception
💛 Treatment adherence
💛 Energy and daily functioning
💛 Overall quality of life

This is why comprehensive UTI care matters.

At You’ve Got This Clinic, we recognize that chronic UTIs can affect mental, emotional, and physical health — and our multidisciplinary approach is designed to support the whole person, not just the infection itself.

You don’t have to “just push through it.” Support is available.

Most people don’t expect to see a dietitian as part of a UTI care team.

But chronic and recurrent UTIs often involve more than just the infection itself — which is why nutrition and whole-body support matter.

At You’ve Got This Clinic, our Registered Dietitian helps patients:
✨ Support bladder and urinary health
✨ Reduce the chances of recurrent UTIs
✨ Explore supportive strategies beyond antibiotics
✨ Recover more effectively when antibiotics are needed
✨ Minimize unwanted side effects from treatment

Because long-term UTI care should focus on supporting the body — not just reacting to symptoms.
💛 Our dietitian appointments are available virtually for patients worldwide.

If you feel like you’re “always” dealing with UTIs, there’s actually a clinical definition for chronic and recurrent infections.

Typically, recurrent UTIs are defined as:
➡️ 2 or more infections within 6 months
OR
➡️ 3 or more infections within 1 year

And while anyone can experience UTIs, they disproportionately affect females due to factors like:
• A shorter urethra
• Hormonal influences
• Sexual activity and different life stages

That’s why long-term UTI care often requires looking beyond a single infection and understanding the bigger picture, which not all care providers do.

At You’ve Got This Clinic, we support patients through specialized, multidisciplinary UTI care designed to help people better understand and manage chronic and recurrent infections.

You’ve probably heard it before — “Drink cranberry juice, it helps with UTIs!”

But here’s the truth: cranberry juice alone isn’t a cure or reliable prevention strategy for urinary tract infections.

While it may have mild benefits for some people, and likely won't hurt, managing or preventing chronic and recurrent UTIs takes more than a bottle of juice.

That’s why our Registered Dietitian, Samantha Holmgren, RD, is hosting an online education session to help you understand the connection between nutrition, bladder health, and UTI prevention.

In this session, you’ll learn:
✅ What to eat (and what to avoid) to support bladder health
✅ How hydration and gut balance impact recurring infections
✅ The truth about cranberry juice — and what really works

📅 Date: April 21, 2026
🕖 Time: 7:00–8:00 PM EST (Virtual)
💻 $50 + tax to attend but free for Dr. German's patients — registration required
Stop sipping on myths and start learning strategies that actually work.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly guessing what to eat (or avoid) for your UTIs… you’re not alone.

One day it’s “drink more water.”
The next it’s “avoid certain foods.”
And somehow, you’re still dealing with flare-ups.

The truth?
There isn't always a one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to diet and UTIs — but there is a way to better understand what your body needs.

That’s where the right guidance can make all the difference.

Our clinic’s Registered Dietitian is hosting a virtual education session focused on how nutrition, hydration, and supplements can support people living with chronic and recurrent UTIs.

Inside this session, you’ll learn:
✨ How diet impacts bladder irritation and inflammation
✨ What may be triggering your symptoms
✨ How to build sustainable habits (without restriction or overwhelm)
✨ Where supplements actually fit into your care plan

If you’re tired of second-guessing your choices, this session will give you clarity.
