If you and your partner feel stuck having the same arguments over and over, you’re not alone.

A lot of couples don’t struggle because they don’t care — they struggle because they don’t feel heard.

Relationship counselling offers a safe, neutral space where both people can slow things down and express what they’re feeling, what they need, and what’s been left unsaid.

The goal isn’t to decide who’s right or wrong.
It’s to help both partners feel heard, safe, and valued.

Often, couples get stuck reacting to the conflict itself instead of understanding what’s happening underneath it. Counselling helps uncover those deeper patterns so you’re not just repeating the same fight in different ways.

Whether you’re navigating a crisis or simply want to strengthen your connection, change is possible.

If this feels familiar, it may be worth exploring what support could look like for you.

Relief feels amazing.
But relief isn’t the same thing as recovery.

There’s a reason pain keeps repeating for so many people — and it’s not because you’re “doing something wrong.”

Dr. Belchos explains the missing piece in this video.

If you’re tired of the injury cycle, book in and let’s break it for good.

We see this often:

Someone goes plant-based…
Feels great at first…
Then energy dips.

It’s rarely the plants.
It’s usually what’s missing.

Dr. Nurse explains what to look out for.

If you’re making the switch and want to avoid common mistakes, book in with Dr. Nurse and get expert guidance from the start.

The biggest mistake we see in rehab?

Trying to get back to 100% too quickly.

The 80% rule isn’t about doing less forever.
It’s about creating momentum you can actually sustain.

Demetry explains how to apply it properly.

If you’ve been stuck in the start-stop cycle, this one’s for you.

We may be late posting this… but winter isn’t over yet. ❄️

Snow doesn’t care if your back is ready for it.

The good news? Most “shoveling injuries” aren’t random. They usually happen when load + repetition + fatigue stack up.

Tiffany breaks down one simple shift that can make a big difference in how your back tolerates the job.

If you’ve ever felt that “uh oh” tweak mid-driveway… this one’s worth the watch.

Save it before the next snowfall.

And if your back is already talking to you, we’re here to help.

Not every confrontation is a bad thing.
Some lead to relief.

Winter doesn’t just change the weather — it changes your nervous system.

If you notice your mood dip, your energy drop, or your patience disappear this time every year, you’re not imagining it.

This is about working with your brain in winter — not pushing through it.

And if this pattern shows up every year, support can make the season feel a lot more manageable.

A lot of the stress people carry
comes from treating thoughts like facts.

But feelings and thoughts
are not the same thing.

This distinction can change how you respond to anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelm.

Because tight doesn’t always mean short or stuck.
Most chronic tightness is driven by your nervous system - not the muscle itself.
And stretching alone rarely solves that.
This video explains what’s really going on - and what your body actually needs instead.

Our Story

The Pain & Wellness Centre opened its doors in September 2014. It is an interdisciplinary, specialty clinic that aims to treat as well as prevent pain and maintain wellness. It is comprehensive, uses the whole person approach, and offers choices regarding treatments. It bridges eastern and western medicine, always using best practice guidelines and evidence based treatments, and offers multiple programs and services under one roof.

We have a team of experienced, well trained health care providers in the field of Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Psychology, Naturopathy, Holistic Nutrition, Mindfulness. Our combined skills, our commitment to the best patient care, and our compassionate approach to chronic pain management make our clinic unique and the number one choice of all of our patients.

Since most of the Pain & Wellness senior staff come from academic institutions with many years of experience in training and research, our Centre welcomes trainees from Universities and accredited health institutions (medical students, chiropractic students and residents/ trainees in Family practice or other specialties). After all, it is of paramount importance that young health providers are trained to view and assess one’s condition from a “whole person perspective”. We will always ask you whether you consent to allow trainees to attend your history and physical examination. If you choose not to, this will not affect your treatment in any way.

Whether you are suffering from chronic pain or you are just looking to have a more balanced, healthy lifestyle, our knowledgable and professional staff will help you achieve unparalleled health and happiness, one step at a time.
