We offer STRETCHHH Therapy sessions! This what we DO 😎. Our hands on approach to health and wellness is why we are the leaders in lifestyle overall health improvement. We definitely offer a very unique approach to fitness and therapy, and we want to make sure we cover all grounds... Have you ever experienced a stretch therapy session? Strictly focusing on stretching your muscles to the potential it requires to improve? Likely not, well the sad thing is most of us fail to stretch at all.

What are the risks associated with this:
➡️ Less longevity for movement
➡️ Increase the risk of injury
➡️ Reduced mobility or eventually become immobile
➡️ Increased joint pain

These are some of the risks associated with a lack of stretching and as you progressively age it becomes worse.

With the new opening of in the📍Village of Kleinburg, LETS TALK COFFEE☕️

Coffee, like most things, can be good in some ways but harmful in others, if you drink coffee in moderation it can actually have many benefits such as decreasing risk of developing type 2 diabetes, liver damage, liver and colorectal cancer, improving memory, energy levels, vigilance, cognitive function, exercise performance and more. However if you drink too much coffee this can cause negative effects and this outweighs all the possible benefits such as headaches, insomnia, high cholesterol, worsening anxiety or anxious feelings, high blood pressure and more.

💡How much is too much?

Adults - up to 400 mg per day is safe (this is equal to about 4 cups of brewed coffee and about 2-3 espressos depending on the strength and sourcing of the bean)
Pregnancy- up to 200 mg per day is safe.

Not only does the quantity of your coffee matter but the quality is extremely important too! This is an example of how quickly we can see an improvement in flexibility when performing myofascial release techniques, stretching, and active ROM exercises with athletes.

➡️ Why is this important for athletes?🔥More specifically, in this situation, hockey players.

When performing an action such as a ‘stride’ in the sport of hockey, it becomes extremely difficult if not impossible to reach an end-ROM for a movement when the athlete has limited flexibility. To add to this, power is reduced, agility is greatly effected, and the athlete will fail to change direction on the ice quickly and efficiently. When the athlete is flexible they will likely generate more power from the glute and hamstring muscles by using a lower centre-of-gravity and wider base of support.

For his final season of Junior hockey is crucial. Preparation before practices and games will improve lower body mechanics. Using self-myofascial release techniques such as foam rolling, dynamic stretching, static stretching, and mobility exercises will allow the body to perform in the best possible manner.

Carmelinda Di Manno will be instructing us through another week of rooftop sunset yoga. This class will be on Monday, August 17th at 8:00pm hosted at Core Athletic Clubs in King City! This is a 50 minute class. Please note, our classes have all sold out‼️ Register as soon as possible.

Carmelinda will be leading us through an ‘All Levels Vinyasa Yoga’ class. Enjoy this fantastic opportunity to practice yoga on the rooftop turf at Core’s amazing facility in King City.

Experiencing neck or back pain from working at your desk all day? Come try some cupping! Dr. Testaguzza is back in the clinic offering 30 minute cupping sessions to help relieve some of your pain and tension. Cupping is also great for managing all kinds of muscular pain. If you are transitioning back to an active lifestyle cupping can help loosen tight muscles to prevent injury.
Some other tips for managing neck/back pain in the office:
1.Proper workplace ergonomics - adjust your screen to be eye level, try a standing desk, invest in a comfortable chair.
2.Proper posture - Shoulders back, tummy in, chin in.
3.Stretch - move your body every 30 to 60 minutes to loosen up tight muscles

Inklein Fitness and Rehab is pleased to announce that WE ARE FINALLY OPEN FOR OUTDOOR TRAINING!

Our highly motivated staff is ready and eager to begin training outdoors. We are offering ONE-ON-ONE personal training outdoor and BOOTCAMP classes all outdoor.
We are opening our doors in the backyard starting Monday, June 29th
