As some of you may know, I’ve been off from doing Equine Osteopathy at the moment because of a fracture I’m trying to give the time to heal.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience being it’s getting into the busy time of the year!
I’m finding out this week if I’m clear to go back to work.

“After 12 years of guiding backpack sheep hunts in the Yukon, N.W.T and Alberta I had developed problems with my knees and lower back. These issues eventually lead me slowing down my guiding career. I was never one for going to the doctor either which never helped. I’ve guided a few doctors who gave me diagnosis on the side of a mountain in between taking ibuprofen and dealing with the pain. Even after I quit guiding these old injuries would plague me in my day to day life. The lower back especially after trimming horses at home, leaving me crippled up the next day. Charmayne and my wife have been good friends since college and Charmayne often stays at our place while in the area. One night while she was over I was telling her about my old battle wounds and she mentioned she should Equiscope my knees and later on did my back. Well Charmayne is welcome to stay at our house anytime and for however long she wishes after the results. My knee pain is rare now and much more minimal and the same for my back. I feel fine the next day after trimming horses and have been strongly considering going back guiding.
