Our Story
We are a mother/daughter team who have always had a passion for health. One of our life long dreams was to open a health food store. In June of 2017, we finally did just that. I was working a job I didn't enjoy and commuting, and the timing finally seemed right. After years of talking, dreaming, and deciding on a name for our then fictional store, we jumped in with both feet. We found a location, I quit my job, we starting applying to companies to carry their products, and in a matter of months, we were open for business. We had our grand opening in August of 2017, which showed an outpouring of support from the community.
I went to school at the alive Academy of Natural Health, which won the National Nutrition (which recognizes excellence in products, service and performance in the natural health industry) award in 2017 for Best School. There I completed my diplomas in Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Counselling, as well as other health related courses. I also am International Sports Science Association (ISSA) certified in Personal Training and in Sports Therapy.
We are proud to carry Canadian companies, such as naka, Prairie Naturals, Organika and many more. We have a variety of essential oils, sports products and protein bars, beauty products, food products and of course, supplements. We stand by our tagline of being “alternative, individual and empowering “. We are proud to serve Vegreville and area, and look forward to many years as your first choice in natural health.
