The Chapel will be open on Saturday, December 13, from 10 am to 6 pm for this year’s All-Day Christmas Meditation. The Chapel is located at 650 4th Avenue in Verdun.

MÉDITATION POUR SOULIGNER L'ANNIVERSAIRE DE SRI YUKTESWAR

Chers membres et amis de SRF,

Le Cercle de méditation SRF de Montréal va diffuser en direct, à la chapelle située au 650, 4e avenue à Verdun, le service commémoratif en l’honneur de la naissance de Swami Sri Yukteswar, guru de Paramahansa Yogananda et paramguru de tous les fidèles de la SRF/YS.

Samedi le 3 mai 2025, 10 h40 à 17h

Si vous ne pouvez assister en totalité aux 6 heures de méditation, ne vous privez surtout pas de venir quand même. Mieux vaut une méditation plus courte que rien du tout.

Cet ajout, ne change en rien l’horaire régulier soit les méditations du mercredi soir ainsi que les services du dimanche matin.

Au plaisir de méditer ensemble le 3 mai.

COMMEMORATIVE MEDITATION - ANNIVERSARY OF SRI YUKTESWAR

Dear SRF Members and Followers,

The SRF Montreal Meditation Circle will livestream, at the chapel located at 650 4th avenue in Verdun, the memorial service in honour of the birth of Swami Sri Yukteswar, guru of Paramahansa Yogananda and paramguru of all the faithful of the SRF/YS.

Saturday, May 3, 2025, 10:40 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you can't attend the full 6 hours of meditation, don't hesitate to come anyway. Better a shorter meditation than nothing at all.

This addition does not change the regular schedule, Wednesday evening meditations as well as the Sunday morning services.

Looking forward to meditating together on May 3rd.

Easter Weekend Special Events

As we approach Easter, as Paramahansa Yogananda explained, it brings a sense of joyful expectation to recall that this holiday has not only great historical meaning in relation to the life of Jesus Christ as an incarnation of the Divine, but also profound significance for our own aspirations of being able to resurrect the latent divine consciousness within ourselves.

We are pleased to announce that the chapel located at 650 4e Avenue in Verdun will be open and will livestream the online meditations led by the monastic members of the Self-Realization Fellowship:

Friday, April 18: Good Friday meditation from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, April 19: Easter meditation from 10:40 a.m. to 5 p.m.
o If you can't attend the full 6 hours of meditation, don't hesitate to come anyway. Better a shorter meditation than nothing at all.

Sunday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda will lead a special Easter sunrise service livestreamed from the Mother Center.

Événements spéciaux de Pâques

À l’approche de Pâques, comme l’a expliqué Paramahansa Yogananda, il est réjouissant de se rappeler que cette fête a non seulement une grande signification historique en relation avec la vie de Jésus-Christ en tant qu’incarnation du Divin, mais aussi une signification profonde pour nos propres aspirations à pouvoir ressusciter la conscience divine latente en nous-mêmes.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que la chapelle située au 650 4e Avenue à Verdun sera ouverte et diffusera en direct les méditations en ligne dirigées par les membres monastiques de la Self-Realization Fellowship:

Le vendredi 18 avril : méditation du Vendredi Saint de 12h à 13h
Le samedi 19 avril : méditation de Pâques de 10h40 à 17h
o Si vous ne pouvez assister en totalité aux 6 heures de méditation, ne vous privez surtout pas de venir quand même. Mieux vaut une méditation plus courte que rien du tout.

Le dimanche 20 avril de 10h à 11h, Frère Chidananda, Président de la SRF/YSS conduira un service spécial de l’Aube de Pâques qui sera diffusé en direct de la Maison Mère.

The Mahasamadhi birthday of Paramahansa Yogananda – that state where a great yogi consciously and permanently leaves his physical body after attaining union with Spirit – takes place on March 7. The Mahasamadhi birthday of his guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar, is on March 9. Monastic members of the Self-Realization Fellowship will conduct special online meditation services in honor of Paramahansa Yogananda and Swami Sri Yukteswar.

The SRF Montreal Meditation Circle will broadcast those services live, at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church, located at 650 4e avenue, in Verdun.

Friday, March 7, 2025, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Paramahansa Yogananda Mahasamadhi Memorial Service in English — led by an SRF monk.

Saturday 8 March 2025, 10:40 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Six-hour memorial meditation for Paramahansa Yogananda and Swami Sri Yukteswar in English — led by an SRF monk.

L’anniversaire du Mahasamadhi de Paramahansa Yogananda – cet état où un grand yogi quitte consciemment et définitivement son corps physique après avoir atteint l’union avec l’Esprit – a lieu le 7 mars. L’anniversaire du Mahasamadhi de son gourou, Swami Sri Yukteswar, a lieu le 9 mars. Des membres monastiques de la Self-Realization Fellowship conduiront des services spéciaux de méditation en ligne en l’honneur de Paramahansa Yogananda et de Swami Sri Yukteswar.

Le Cercle de méditation SRF de Montréal va diffuser ces services spéciaux dans ses locaux à l'Église Notre-Dame-De-Lourdes, au 650 4e avenue à Verdun.
