LONG MEDITATION SATURDAY MARCH 14
The SRF Montreal Meditation Circle warmly invite you to join us for a six-hour meditation honoring the mahasamadhis of Paramahansa Yogananda and Swami Sri Yukteswar, led by an SRF monastic, livestreamed from 10h40 am to 5 pm Saturday March 14 at 650, 4t avenue in Verdun.
The first half begins with group practice of the Energization Exercises, followed by an opening prayer, inspirational readings, devotional chanting, and periods of silent meditation lasting about 30-50 minutes each. After a thirty-minute intermission, the meditation service will continue with periods of devotional chanting and silent meditation. The service concludes with the practice of Paramahansa Yogananda's healing technique and a closing prayer.
As Paramahansaji says in his book Inner Peace, “Every person needs a retreat, a dynamo of silence where he may go for the exclusive purpose of being recharged by the Infinite.”
If you can't attend the full meditation, don't hesitate to come anyway. Better a shorter meditation than nothing at all.
This addition does not change the regular schedule, Wednesday evening meditations as well as the Sunday morning services.
Looking forward to meditating together on Saturday March 14 from 10h40 am to 5 pm.
