Well that is a wrap for another year. The 2025 Dryden Regional Palliative Care Conference was a huge success.
I am so proud of our committee and our community for stepping up and recognizing how important it is to start having those conversations about planning for the rest of our lives.
Thank you to our amazing speakers, with an extra shout out to Dr. Sammy Winemaker for travelling from Hamilton Ontario, such valuable information shared with heart from all.
Thank you to the staff at the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre, it is such an amazing venue and we are lucky to have it in Dryden.
Our goal is to keep sharing all of this information so that when you are faced with travelling an illness journey yourself or with someone else, you have the tools to help you walk it with the information and help you need.
It can be a tricky time and not everyone wants to talk about this, but being proactive instead of reactive in these tough times can make the world of difference for everyone.
