Vermilion Bay Pharmasave will be closed this week during regular business hours. Our pharmacist Ali, will be in Dryden for the week. If we find a relief pharmacist we will resume regular hours. For your convenience, Ali will be available for pick ups between the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM
Monday to Friday: 6:45 PM - 10:15 pm.

Hi everyone,

Are you looking to join an AMAZING team that prides itself in delivering excellent customer service?

Vermilion Bay Pharmasave is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician. If you applied in our first round and didn’t receive a call back, we encourage you to apply again.

This position is a full-time position working 40 hours per week and under the supervision of a pharmacist. Training will be provided.

Pharmacy Assistant responsibilities include:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling.

• Data entry of patient care information

• Assist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions and compliance packs

• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems

• Handling customer prescription pick up area

• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy

• Perform specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice.

The successful candidate must have a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be a motivated learner who works well both independently and as part of a team.
