VIBE (Vermilion Is Being Empowered) VIBE is a Mental Health Capacity Building Program!

It is an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach in providing promotion, prevention and early intervention addiction and mental health services to children, youth and their families. Our Schools and VIBE Wellness Coaches:

🎨💚 VIBE’s 12th Annual Youth Mental Health Art Gala 💚🎨

On Wednesday, May 6, the Vermilion Regional Centre was filled with creativity, connection, and community as we celebrated Mental Health Week (May 4–8) at VIBE’s 12th Annual Youth Mental Health Art Gala.

✨ 519 people attended
✨ 1,693 pieces of artwork were displayed
✨ Art featured from all 13 VIBE schools, along with residents from Islay Assisted Living

This incredible evening showcased the talent, voices, and stories of youth throughout our communities while promoting the importance of mental health awareness and expression through art.

🏆 Congratulations to our Grade 10–12 Top 5:
• 1st - Payten Tobler (Gr. 10, Marwayne)
• 2nd - Quinnley Isert (Gr. 10, Marwayne)
• 3rd - Jay Barrett (Gr. 11, J.R. Robson)
• 4th - Khloe Gau (Gr. 10, Blessed Sacrament School)
• 5th - Naomi Doyon (Gr. 10, Blessed Sacrament School)

For Grades 1–6, VIBE celebrates all winners equally without ranking placements. 💛

The event also featured:
🎨 21 interactive art stations
🧸 Two 6-foot bears donated by Cornerstone Co-op
🚒 Fire trucks brought by Lakeland Fire Etc students and the 29th Battalion
🍰 Desserts, community connection, and lots of smiles

👏 Walking Through Grief and Midwest Family Connections for running art stations
